Côte-Rôtie Trail

Take part in this new sporting event in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie vineyards!

On the programme:
- 3 trails for all levels: 13 km, 25 km and 46 km.
- Children's races: from 500 m to 2 km depending on age.
- A free hike: 10 or 15 km to explore the hillsides at a leisurely pace.


THE TRAILS:

La Verticale
13 km | 600 m elevation gain | Start: 6pm – Avenue du Château | Solo
A short but intense trail! With an elevation gain of 600 m, this route takes you to the heights of Ampuis, through the vineyards of Côte-Rôtie. You will be rewarded with magnificent views of the Rhône, Pilat and the village.

La Brune et Blonde
25 km | 1,200 m elevation gain | Start: 4.30pm – Avenue du Château | Solo
Immerse yourself in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, from north to south of Ampuis. This demanding trail (UTMB 20K – ITRA 1 label) alternates between ascents and descents on the hillsides, revealing the diversity and beauty of our terroir.

L'AOC
46 km | 2,500 m elevation gain | Start: 2 p.m. – Avenue du Château | Solo, duo or two-person relay
The ultimate challenge! Cross the entire appellation, between Ampuis, Saint-Cyr-sur-Rhône and Tupin-et-Semons. This route (UTMB 50K – ITRA 2) takes you through the most beautiful plots and the most secret trails. A real test for your legs... and your mind!

Les Millésimes
500m - 2 km | Starts from 4:45 p.m. – Avenue du Château
Races adapted to each age group:
- 500 m (children born between 2016 and 2018)
- 1 km (born between 2014 and 2015)
- 1.5 km (born between 2012 and 2013)
- 2 km (born between 2008 and 2011)

THE HIKE:

Les Vendangettes | 10 or 15 km
