A place of memory of the textile activity of the Haut-Pilat. A reconstituted know-how: flat and workshop of the passementier as they existed in the last century, JACQUARD ribbon loom in function and video presenting the life of the passementier.
The Old Farm
Step back into the past when you walk through the door of this museum which preserves tools, equipment and utensils from the rural world. Discover the work of farmers with a team of cows and try your hand at milking with a life-size resin cow!
Maison des Tresses et Lacets
The Maison des Tresses et Lacets is in the middle of the Vallée du Dorlay where the hydraulics-based textile industry was at its height in the 19th century. The museum is in a former textile factory, the Moulin-Pinte, and welcomes visitors today.
